Open the challenge and review the teams, matchups, deadline, and scoring rules shown on that challenge. Select the team you believe will advance from every matchup. Later-round choices depend on earlier picks, so an early selection can determine the paths available in the rest of your bracket.

Submit before the published deadline. Once the tournament begins, entries are locked to keep the contest fair for everyone.

As the tournament unfolds

d3challenge updates the bracket as final results are recorded. If a team you selected wins, that choice advances in your entry. If it loses, the affected path ends, while your remaining selections continue to score where possible.

Standings show how your entry compares with other participants. Scoring can give different rounds different values, so review the scoring display on the challenge before submitting.

Good bracket habits

• Read the event-specific deadline; it is the authoritative lock time.
• Check every round before submitting—an incomplete bracket may not be eligible to score as intended.
• Use your own reasoning. The fun is balancing likely outcomes with the possibilities that make a tournament unpredictable.
• Return after each round to see both your results and the live standings.
