Division III prediction games

Welcome to d3challenge.com!

Show your strengths—or your luck—with curated games where you pick the winners and see how you rank among friends and the world.

How it works

Pick ’em. Fill out a bracket. See how you did.

d3challenge.com is a home for sports pick’em games, tournament brackets and other prediction challenges built around the games we already follow.

Some challenges ask you to work your way through an entire tournament bracket. Others are simpler: choose the winner of a collection of games, submit your picks before they begin and come back to see where you finished.

The site grew out of the Division III sports community surrounding d3photography and its longtime coverage of college athletics. Our challenges are curated around events where making the picks is actually interesting—NCAA tournaments, championship events and selected groups of games throughout a season.

Participation is free. Create an account, find an open challenge and make your selections before the deadline. Once games are played, d3challenge tracks the results and standings so you can compare your picks with other participants.

More ways to play

More than brackets

Tournament brackets were an early and natural fit for d3challenge, particularly around NCAA Division III basketball. The site has continued to expand beyond that format.

In 2026 we added support for additional styles of competition, including confidence pools, and began testing weekly football pick’em challenges.

A basketball tournament bracket behaves differently from a weekly football pool, and a confidence challenge adds another layer by asking not only who will win, but how strongly you believe in each selection. One platform lets us experiment with new ways to follow the sports—without turning the process into a spreadsheet or a collection of disconnected forms.

Always improving

Built for the way you follow the game

d3challenge is an actively developed project from d3photography, with improvements designed to make every challenge easier to enter and follow on desktop and mobile.

Recent development includes mobile-friendly selection controls, dark mode, multiple brackets under one account, bracket names, downloadable bracket PDFs, passkey authentication and improved account and communication controls.

The goal is straightforward: make it easy to make your picks, follow the results and have a little fun seeing whether you actually knew what was going to happen.
