Thank you for choosing to play in the d3photography.com post season challenge.
This is our sixth year running these challenges here and our 11th year in the bracket business.
I'm sure you've seen that our platform was, well, a tad bit dated. D3sports.com launched it in 2005 to very little fanfare, using technology that really didn't make any sense to me — and I'm the one that wrote it.
We expanded it the next winter to support basketball brackets, and a few years later we started hosting soccer and ice hockey on the same platform.
Today we have a new platform that we are beta testing. I re-wrote the entire website from the ground up, new database, new methodology for selections and display and greater flexibility for mobile platforms.
But we're not done. We have dreams of hosting more than just NCAA Division III Brackets for fun but we will need your help. We have a Bugzilla installation you can use to report bugs or you can drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. Any features or suggestions can also be sent to that address.
But that's not all. One of the reasons I delayed this rebuild was the cost... we've never taken a penny from anyone to do this and we receive a nominal return through advertising. If you wish to help us there are a number of ways you can support our developers, programmers and photographers. Please feel free to click here for more information. I would prefer to keep the website advertising free for as long as possible.
Thank you very much for your patronage over the years and I hope you find this upgrade as much of an improvement and satisfying as we have.
